Grupo Latin vibe has held court in the Parkside’s back room every Friday for ages, cranking out high-octane salsa to an always-full house. (The club claims to have a two-drink minimum, but we’ve yet to witness its enforcement.) The crowd displays varying levels of dancing competence, but enthusiasm is universally high and definitely infectious. And if things get too hot, you can always duck into the bar’s comfortably divey front half for a round of pool or an audible conversation.
